Lowell--be sure to check out our extensive Duke analysis article (that is forthcoming, and will have a little bit of information from the exhibition games included). For now, expect a starting lineup of Scheyer, Smith, Singler, and the Plumlees.

Miles looks worlds better this year: stronger, more athletic, and more confident. We think having his brother around really helps his play.

Singler will play exclusively on the perimeter. In the Blue-White game, he knocked down loads of 3s and generally played outside in on offense. l

I don't know about zone. One student asked Coach about playing zone at a K-ville open house, and Coach was really funny about it ("What do you think we should play?). So I anticipate the zone to be used some when necessary. We have much more length than quickness this year, so all those long arms would be useful in a 1-3-1 or some other zone. We used some 1-3-1 last year, I bet that's what we'll see if anything.

Huge. If we pull Barnes, we go into 2010 as the #1 team. If we pull Barnes AND get Singler to stay? Holy crap. That would be a stacked team.
But anyways, I want predictions/analysis! Word on the street stuff. Give me the likely starting lineup. Who plays down low? Nolan's going to continue to play off the ball, I assume? If Scheyer is full-time pg, does he shoot as much? Can Miles actually play now or will he continue to look like a lost puppy on the court? Is K going to have Singler bang in the post a lot to take advantage of his smaller matchups as a 3? Most importantly, are the rumors of a zone true? Are we going to see some 2-3 in Cameron?
